We take pride in asserting civil rights claims on behalf of individual citizens against government officials, government agencies, public institutions, and private employers for violations of the individual’s rights under the United States Constitution. Rights mean nothing unless they are asserted and exercised. Have you been a victim of police misconduct? Falsely arrested? Beaten/tased by the police without any justification? Have you by unlawfully searched? Maliciously prosecuted? Wrongly incarcerated? We can help. Have you been a victim of housing discrimination? Redlining? Rental discrimination? We can help. When the injury is caused by the negligence or recklessness of person, business or other entity, the only avenue of compensation available is financial. We hope you never need to hire a personal injury attorney. We know that when you contact our office, you are likely dealing with one of the most difficult situations you will face in your lifetime. For this reason, we strive to make your experience with our law firm as smooth and painless as possible. Learn more here.

Who are you going to call for local counsel services in Connecticut? A law school classmate? Dust off some directory like Best’s or Martindale? Pick someone out of the yellow pages? Partner with some medium or large firm who might poach your client? Or overstaff the matter? When local counsel matters were up for assignment, Attorney Radshaw was first to volunteer. Who We Are
Attorney John J. Radshaw III is recognized as a dedicated and creative legal advocate. John’s litigation practice is wide and varied, more often than not including ones that other lawyers refused to handle because of novelty or complexity.
Building his experience after 10 years of practice at a mid-sized regional law firm after a start a small, local firm, John developed the reputation for taking the matters that didn’t fit in the comfortable practice areas of his colleagues. From adversary proceedings in bankruptcy court to antitrust litigation over water rights to civil rights claims over changes in municipal borders, Attorney John Radshaw has handled many unique cases in the state and federal courts in Connecticut.
Attorney Radshaw is a member of the American Bar Association, the Connecticut Bar Association, including the Federal Practice and Litigation Sections, the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association and a past member and treasurer of the New Haven Inn of Court (2004-8).
Based on the recommendation of a colleague in Boston, I hired John to serve as local counsel in an insurance coverage dispute involving environmental claims. John is extremely knowledgeable about the law in general and Connecticut practice in particular. He is a tremendous asset and it is pleasure to work with him. He helped us get a good result.
